About Me

Hi I am Osman Can AKSOY ,
I am a Computer Engineering graduate from Karadeniz Technical University, currently pursuing my master’s degree at the same institution. I have a strong interest in software development, particularly in the fields of computer vision, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence.

During my academic journey and internships, I have worked on various projects involving object detection, image processing, and neural networks. I have hands-on experience with multiple programming languages including C, C++, Python, and JavaScript. I have developed desktop and web applications using frameworks such as Qt, React, and Django. My work includes computer vision and deep learning tasks using OpenCV, PyTorch, and YOLO, as well as deploying optimized AI models with ONNX, TensorRT, DeepStream, and CUDA. I am also familiar with containerization, version control, and database systems through tools and platforms like Docker, Git, SQLite, and PostgreSQL.

I am eager to improve myself continuously, follow new technologies closely, and take part in innovative and impactful projects..

Aug. 2024 — present

Software Developer Intern - Simsoft Computer Technologies

Jul. 2024 — Aug. 2024

During my internship, I worked on object detection and tracking using YOLO, performed data annotation, and converted models to ONNX and TensorRT formats. I applied model quantization, explored Transformer and Vision Transformer (ViT) architectures, and gained experience in monocular depth estimation.

Image Processing Intern - Karadeniz Technical University Computer Vision Lab.

Jul. 2023 — Aug. 2023

I developed a histogram-based object tracking application in C++ using the Qt framework, without using any external computer vision libraries. The project included building a basic GUI and implementing core tracking features like color histogram creation and object following.
